Sir Terry Frost 'Construction 1951-2'

This is my version of one of my favourite Sir Terry Frost pieces 'construction 1951-2' which having started last year I have finally finished
To make it I have used various pieces of wood and marine plywood I found at Studland Bay which were painted then scratched and sanded down to get the surface texture you can see.

Studland Bay

This was painted with the use of various paints on wood board and is an abstraction initially created in situ at Studland Bay here in Dorset. The piece is mounted within an inner boxed triptych mount and set in a real wood frame behind glass the piece measures 21" x 10" x 2. The frame and mount is finished in a slightly distressed chalky lily white paint.
