As you are well aware the work of Ben Nicholson was a key reason as to why I decided late in life to explore creating my own artwork. These pieces I created in 2012 when I was desperately pushing myself to learn to draw. Based on his 'Landscape with Shapes' work this is ink pen with various paints on heavy card which like Nicholson I undercoated with washes of color before I started on the primary shapes.
